Dynasty is an American prime time television soap opera that aired on ABC from January 12, 1981 to May 11, 1989. The series revolved around the Carringtons, a wealthy oil family living in Denver, Colorado. Created by Richard and Esther Shapiro, Dynasty was produced by Aaron Spelling, already well-known for his successful ABC series including Starsky and Hutch, Charlie's Angels, The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Vega$, and Hart to Hart. |
